I was raised in a home where I did not hear about God and only went to church once a year on Christmas Eve. When I did go to church I had no idea who this God they were talking about was. The most important part of my testimony is my father has been battling cancer ever since I was 9 years old so I always questioned God growing up because I did not understand why God would do something like that to the best man I have ever met. When I was in my early teenage years my boyfriend at the time started taking me to church and opening my eyes to the word of God and how powerful God can be in my life. Learning more about God through church I loved everything that I was being taught. I knew my life would be better with God in my life because I needed to keep as much faith in my life as possible. I did not fully follow the Bible and God until January 21, 2009 when I almost lost my brother in an accident. My brother was not suppose to make it through his accident by what the doctors said but the next day my brother woke up from his coma without any problems at all and left the hospital the same day. I knew if something that powerful could happen it could only have been through the work and hand of God.
